APIhub in Claude

Works on claude.ai and in the Claude app on desktop and phone, on every plan. The free plan allows one custom connector.

Add APIhub to Claude (opens in a new tab)
  1. 1Add APIhub

    Press the button. Claude opens the “Add custom connector” window with the name and the address filled in. Press Add.

  2. 2Sign in to APIhub

    A window opens. Sign in with Google or with your email, and approve. New to APIhub? Your account is made in the same window.

  3. 3Ask

    Open a new chat, paste a link to your video and write: “Add Hebrew captions to my video”. Claude shows the price; say yes.

Adding it by hand

Customize → Connectors → + Add → Add custom connector. Name: APIhub. Address:

On Team and Enterprise plans, an owner adds APIhub once, under Organization settings → Connectors. Then each member opens Customize → Connectors and presses Connect.

If Claude does not use APIhub in a chat: press + at the bottom of the chat → Connectors, and turn APIhub on.

The plugin: the connector and the skills together

On claude.ai and in Claude Desktop: Customize → Plugins → Add → Add marketplace, and paste this:

vibecodingltd/apihub-plugins

Then install apihub-video from it, open the plugin’s Connectors tab and connect APIhub.

Or Upload plugin with the plugin’s ZIP file (we send it on request). A plugin on your account reaches Claude Code too.

The repository is private for now: claude.ai asks to connect GitHub the first time, and Claude Code uses the git sign-in on your computer.

In Claude Code

Paste this in the terminal. The first time a tool runs, Claude Code opens the APIhub sign-in in your browser.

If something does not work

I do not see “Add custom connector”

On Team and Enterprise plans only owners can add connectors. Ask your workspace owner to add APIhub, then press Connect.

The sign-in window does not open

Allow pop-ups for claude.ai and try again: Customize → Connectors → APIhub → Connect.

Claude does not use APIhub

In the chat, press + at the bottom → Connectors, and check that APIhub is on.

Claude cannot open my video

Share the Google Drive or Dropbox link with “anyone with the link”, or ask Claude for an upload link. Links to YouTube pages do not work.

Claude says my credits are not enough

Add credits on the APIhub site, then ask again. Nothing was charged.

It is taking a while

Captions on a 40-second video take about a minute; reels and dubbing take a few minutes. Ask Claude: “Is my video ready?”
