APIhub in Windsurf

Windsurf is now called Devin Desktop. Add APIhub to the MCP file of its Cascade agent, or run one command for the Devin Local agent.

1Open the MCP file
In the Cascade panel, press the three dots (…) at the top, then Open MCP config file in the MCPs part.
2Paste and save
Paste this and save the file. If other servers are already in it, add only the apihub part inside mcpServers.

3Sign in and ask
When Cascade connects to apihub, your browser opens: sign in to APIhub with Google or with your email, and approve. Then, in the chat: “Add Hebrew captions to this video”, with a link. Cascade shows the price; say yes.

With the Devin Local agent

Devin Local, the agent in new tabs, takes its servers from Devin CLI’s settings. With Devin CLI installed, paste this in a terminal:

devin mcp add -s user apihub https://apihub.co.il/mcp

Then sign in. Your browser opens: sign in to APIhub and approve.

devin mcp login apihub

The first time it calls an APIhub tool, Devin Local asks you to allow it: for this session, or always.

Where the file is

If the button is not there, open the file yourself:

If something does not work

I do not see apihub’s tools

In the Cascade panel, press the three dots → MCPs and check that the switch next to apihub is on.

Cascade says there are too many tools

Cascade uses at most 100 tools at a time, across all servers. Switch off the servers you are not using under the three dots → MCPs.

apihub shows Needs auth

The sign-in expired. In Devin Local, press Authenticate. In a terminal: devin mcp logout apihub, then devin mcp login apihub.

My team blocks the server

Once a team admin allowlists one server, every other server is blocked. Ask the admin to allowlist the server ID apihub, the same name as in mcp_config.json.

Cascade cannot open my video

Share the Google Drive or Dropbox link with “anyone with the link”, or ask for an upload link. Links to YouTube pages do not work.
